As an innovative technology for injection molding, hot runner technology has many advantages and its application range is becoming increasingly widespread, representing one of the development directions of injection molding. In recent years, with the development of the domestic and foreign mold industry and the improvement of market requirements, Haochen's hot runner system technology has also been constantly innovating and developing, and its development trend is mainly reflected in the following aspects.
(1) Miniaturization of hot nozzles
The miniaturization of hot nozzles can effectively achieve precision injection molding. It is possible to realize the first mock examination multi cavity compound nozzle or one hot nozzle multi gate filling with small spacing, thus improving the application range and efficiency.
(2) Standardization of accessories
The structure of hot runner molds is more complex than ordinary molds, and the non-standard cost is high! If the standardization of accessories can effectively improve the delivery cycle of the hot runner system, mass production can also reduce manufacturing costs and facilitate the exchange and maintenance of components. More importantly, it is more beneficial for customers to use in large quantities.
(3) Accuracy of the plan
By utilizing thermal balance analysis software and mold flow analysis software, as well as experience in mold design, manufacturing, and plastic injection molding, the accuracy of selecting hot runner schemes can be improved, and the number of mold trials and errors can be reduced.
(4) Widespread use
Hot runner technology has been used in injection molding for over 70 years. Due to its high quality, low energy consumption, short molding cycle, and high degree of automation, it can be used for almost all plastic products formed by injection molding. Therefore, increasing its scope of use is its main future development direction. For example, new molding processes have been developed, such as multicolor co injection, stacked multi cavity hot runner injection molding, etc. The hot runner technology has been widely promoted and applied in developed countries in Europe, America and Asia, while in China, after more than a decade of application in hot runner technology, great achievements have been made in technical research. However, due to the uneven level of domestic hot runner technology, lack of standardization and scale in design and production, the current popularity rate of hot runners in China is still relatively low! I believe that with the continuous increase in labor costs and the rise in plastic raw materials in China, hot runner technology will be widely applied in order to make plastic products more internationally competitive.
